Got a ten year US visa for me my month old son and girlfriend not married

Hello. Im writing this to inform you of my process of my us visa application and approval. Firstly I a work as quantity surveyor in the constructuon field with a new born and my girlfriend is a pharmacy intern. At the time of applying for our visas we had already traveled 3 times on the j1 work and travel program and we were a relation ship for 3 year prior to our application . We all applied and got approved with minimal question. For context we brought all financial document,job letters etc and the interveiwer never even took a glace at any of the documents.

My assumption is they due to our travel history and genuine relationship was probably proof enough.so simply put mine was pretty simple but everyone's case is different.

Person in the line for tourist visa got regected without even a fighting chance so i might can give a few tips.

1.TIES TO JAMAICA OR HOME COUNTRY

The will look for times to you home country. The person that go rejected right before me was a young male who has 3 kids and planned to leave the with his sister while he travel. He got reject on the sport. Id suggest bringing the kids along and make it a family trip application

2. FINANCIAL SUPPORT

as i said before the will seek to know if you are plly to afford a trip in my case i guess due to my carrier the assumed i had enough which i did but the did look at my documents. I also seen people got rejected who had way more than i did but still got rejected. Do so research to a better understanding or what they require.

3. CONFIDENCE

I think this is overlooked by many. I know is very hard to controll one's emotionts and how the might feel in a specific instance. I myself was very nervous the first time i got approved. mi tip is acceptthe fact that you are nervous but dont dwell on it too much. Afterall its hard to convince someone to grant you somthing if you yourself don believe or fell you deserve but do t be overly aggressive either.

4. ANWERS TO QUESTION

As the applicant you are trying to convince the interveiwer that you will return to the country so it doesn't hurt to elaborate a little bit when asked questions. In another breath dont insert un necessary details to the conversation especially if not ask. Another point is to aswer the question as you answer the in the application as the will catch you in thi gs dont match up.
