I NEED HELP!

I recently bought a laptop with a 13th gen i7 and a 4050 with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, but the game runs much worse than it should based on the specs and videos I've seen of similar laptops. Does anyone know why this might be? (I should mention that I have a desktop PC with a 12GB 3060 and a 10th gen i5 with 16GB of RAM, and it performs slightly worse.)
I hope you can help me.
