Am I cooked
So this is kind of a long story but I'll shorten it down as much as possible and clarify where needed in comments.
I'm a pharmacy tech, about a month and a half ago I was solo rx pickup and in between customers I was trying to put away script bags, I put a basket of them down to go help someone and one of the other techs started screaming at me that I was in her way and being a problem. She wasn't there when I put the basket down and she was screaming at me while I was helping customers. I said nothing back, just kept helping people because I didn't have time or energy to deal with the crazy behind me.
A few days after that whole fiasco, I go to talk to our pharmacy manager and say "hey this is a kind of unacceptable behavior for the pharmacy, can you please talk to this person and do something about this since this isn't the first time this has happened?". A few weeks go by and nothing happens, pharmacy manager says that the other tech doesn't feel like they were in the wrong so they won't apologize for the screaming.
I had a day off and was feeling pretty annoyed by the whole situation so I decided to call HR and just lodge a complaint that it happened. I wasn't expecting them to really do anything about it but I just wanted it on the record and to see if they had any advice on what should be done about that kind of behavior in the future because it's toxic as hell. Spoilers, they didn't have any advice.
Later on that same day, I got a call from the pharmacy manager telling me that the DL said I had to be removed from the schedule because of an HR investigation and that I was under review after they got some texts I sent our staff pharmacist. I didn't say anything crazy to that pharmacist, mostly complained that it was a crazy situation to have to be in.
It's been about two weeks since I've been removed from the schedule and there hasn't been a word about it to either the pharmacy manager or myself about what's going on. I tried calling HR again to ask what was going on but they said they didn't see any reason I couldn't work. They also said that even if there was an investigation, they wouldn't be able to tell me. So, I guess them saying "all good" didn't really mean anything.
Basically, does anyone have any ideas as to what might be happening here? Am I going to be fired? I don't think I did anything wrong but I would need to know if I need to start looking for a new job.
