I find it weird that Israel recognized them as Jews and allowed them to perform Aliyah, when they're just as credible as Black Hebrew Israelites are.

\>These people were a tribal group in India that got introduced to Christianity when they were practicing local tribal religion.

\>Their community leader saw Manasseh, the Biblical patriarch, and then decided to abandon Christianity for Judaism.

\>These people's ancestors stole land from the Nagas, who are also a tribe that converted to Christianity, and these people have committed sectarian violence against them.

\>These people are Kuki-Zos who left Christianity. Which is why during Manipur violence they performed Aliyah. Leaving their Christian Kuki-Zo to be slaughtered.

\>Many Evangelicals, such as the popular news network [CBN](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Broadcasting_Network), believe their claims.

I hope Messianic Jews think these claims are nonsense since they're exactly like Black Hebrew Israelites and causes major trouble to Christians of Mizoram.

Also, I don't know how Israel could see this group as Jewish while considering Messianic Jews Gentiles. I simply don't understand the logic.

What do Messianic Jews/Evangelicals think of this group in India claiming to be a "Lost Tribe of Israel"?
