tiktok malecels are unironically the most infuriating people i've ever met. none of them would ever touch me with a 10 foot pole because im black anyway + malecels in general disgust me but their views on hypergamy are legitimately just dumb and make no sense. i have a tiktok account talking about my issues with males & how my race prohibits me from having a boyfriend specifically and occasionally ill get a dm request from one & i'll debate with them just to see the dumb points they'll bring up

they genuinely believe that only women perpetuate hypergamy when it's a biological trait in all humans. feeling more comfortable around people you find attractive is a trait that resides in everyone, not just humans..?
and idk if anyone else has heard this argument when debating with one of them but they tend to bring up "well... well male peacock use le beautiful feathers to attract female peacock so that means hypergamy is le wiminz fault" as if we're birds like. they pmo istg they act dumb on purpose
