Made a stylized AI parkour short film with Seedance 2.0.

We wanted this one to feel less like polished CGI and more like a moving digital painting — hard shadows, simplified rooftop shapes, visible brush texture, and fast camera energy.

The idea was simple:
a teenage parkour runner sprinting across dense urban rooftops at sunset, vaulting over railings, jumping rooftop gaps, wall-running, climbing ladders, and finally reaching the tallest building above the glowing city.

# Prompt:

"SUBJECTS 17-year-old athletic boy, messy black hair, lightweight gray hoodie, black joggers, fingerless gloves, white running shoes. ENVIRONMENT Dense urban rooftop environment during sunset. Narrow rooftops, neon signs, air conditioning units, and distant city traffic visible below. MUSIC Fast-paced electronic percussion with deep rhythmic bass and tense atmospheric textures. STYLE Digital painting aesthetic. Simplified structures, hard-edge brush strokes, large color blocks, visible hand-drawn texture, heavy shadows. No realistic 3D rendering or polished CGI look. SHOT 1 Hard cut opening. Wide tracking shot, 24mm. The boy is already sprinting across rooftops while the camera follows closely from behind. Wind strongly pushes against clothing and hair. SFX: rapid footsteps, distant traffic ambience, rhythmic bass pulses. SHOT 2 Continuous shot. Side tracking shot, 50mm. He vaults over metal railings and jumps across narrow rooftop gaps while sunset reflections streak across nearby windows. SFX: heavy breathing, shoe friction, metallic impact sounds. SHOT 3 Cut. Low-angle shot, 28mm. He lands hard onto a rooftop edge before instantly transitioning into a wall run and quick directional turn. Nearby neon lights flicker dynamically. SFX: landing impact, air movement, electronic percussion intensifying. SHOT 4 Continuous push-in. Medium close shot, 85mm. Sweat, breathing, and focused eyes visible while he rapidly climbs a vertical ladder and pulls himself onto a higher rooftop. Camera movement remains aggressive and unstable. SFX: metal ladder rattling, breathing strain, bass rhythm. SHOT 5 Ending shot. Wide cinematic shot, 35mm. He finally reaches the tallest rooftop and stops near the edge overlooking the glowing city skyline. Wind blows strongly while distant lights shimmer below. He slowly turns toward the camera as the music fades. SFX: fading electronic bass, city ambience, strong rooftop wind"

What I tried to focus on:

* fast handheld tracking camera movement
* sunset rooftop atmosphere
* digital painting / hand-drawn texture
* aggressive parkour pacing
* wind, breathing, footsteps, and bass-heavy electronic music
* no realistic 3D render look

Seedance handled the movement surprisingly well, especially the rooftop running and cinematic push-in shots. The ending shot with the character stopping above the city skyline gives it a nice short-film feeling.
