How do y'all get your collections? Just get boxes or smt?

After getting back into vanguard this year, I realized some things quite immediately:

The game is VERY expensive for the "fun" decks, costing triple digits especially if you buy singles.

I wanted to see how much just getting Animus for my odium deckset would cost and uhhh, 100+ for 3 copies...are you kidding me?

Do you guys just buy booster boxes for the supports of the decks that you want to play and coincidentally get pieces for other decks for you to build in the future (maybe get missing pieces as singles)?

As much as I hate not owning my cardboard collection...this game will force me to learn how to proxy to have a modicum of fun.
