Am I burning out?

Hi - I hope everyone is well! First time posting here, actually haven’t been in this sub before.

So this is my current situation: I work an office job but it’s 100% remote. For the past month I have been under constant stress ever since my department manager was fired and even more now that my direct supervisor has resigned, making me the oldest person in the department.

I get treated as someone with a higher position even though the pay and title are not there and so I am assigned tasks that go beyond for what I was hired to do. I clarified many times that I do not have the time and capacity to take all of them and if so I have to stay overtime to get to do everything (which is what most managers do at this company from what I’ve noticed) which lead me to for example have a shift of 14hrs last week.

This takes me to how I currently feel. Around a month ago I started having breakdowns, crying and getting angry and frustrated. Then two to three weeks ago I started with:

- Headaches (sometimes followed by nausea). At its worst point I almost fainted

- Irritability (I noticed myself being less patient with people and complain a bit more at work)

- I sleep 7hrs but wake up tired

- Dieting went out of the window, I have been dieting consistently for some months now but this past month in specific has been really hard for me. I relied on food for relief.

- And today I slept the whole day, woke up at 10 am, went back to sleep at 1 pm and woke up at around 6 - 7 pm. Got sleepy again at 10 pm.

- Intermittent depression, getting more frequent lately

- I don’t exactly dread working but I am not happy either

I wonder if this might be burnout or something else. I tried taking a day off last week but came back to another project that set off the cycle again. Luckily Memorial Day is this week so I get another day off but I don’t know. I also went to the ER when I almost fainted and they sent me home saying I should live a healthy life and an ibuprofen box.

What do you think? If I am burning out, do you have any advice? I am not currently in the position to change jobs (I am looking but it will take a while)
