What about name a houseplant after deities?

A weird thought just came into my mind... I haven't done this, but I'm curious: Has anyone ever thought about keeping houseplant(s) and name them after Celtic paganism deities? Every time you water and fertilize them, every time you clean their leaves and give them the right amount of sunlight, it's like make offerings to the deities. I'm not quite sure if that's ok to do or it's disrespectful to deities, like if deities will be happy/ unhappy/ furious/ don't care about this behaviour? And also, I don't know if there will be punishment if the houseplant died, for sometimes plants could be unstable and fragile.

Again, this is just a thought, and I have no intention to disrespect or offend and deity and anyone who worship these deities. Do let me know if this is inappropriate.
