Why does plat just feel worse then silver and gold

i had a 70% WR going into plat most games felt winnable. ive gotten to plat 3 and every game feels like its either a stomp win or stomp loss no inbetween. u have ppl who die once and say they r throwing in chat. you have ppl off meta picking and going 0/10, it genuinley just feels like a coin flip from champ select. i looked at my last games in over 20 ranked matches i havent had a top lane with a positive KD. idk how thats possible. i feel like i personally play well and honestly im not mad im more confused on how the state of the game gets worse in plat. like if i lost a game and it was just like yeh enemy team was better then ok whatever. but its like just dumb play after dumb play everyone is spamming chat with borderline racist msgs not playing the game just afk typing under tower. im sitting here tryna play the game while my team fights in chat like a 50 year old couple going through a divorce
