perfume in spells

Basically whenever i do a love spell i always add my perfume either in a jar or around my herbs and crystals and i am now a firm believer in everyone doing this because my ex texted me saying
"are you doing spells on me all i can smell is your perfume all the time"
He doesn't believe in witchcraft and i also didnt want to reveal doing spells on him so he went as far as asking me if i was praying my perfume in places he goes😭 not sure how that would work in his home but nevermind.
But just wanted to share this !
