He feels so different from other villains due to him not really having a goal that’s justifiable in any shape or form to almost any extremity or length atleast the dragon empire wants order (albeit too much order), Tormentus wanted to stop the dragons but his curses basically drove him insane so id say he can’t exactly control his evilness, the shadows to me act like a parasitic disease more than a fully conscious and aware being acting more animalistic/bacterial than anything, and many other villains either want some form of order, powers, riches, or whatever they want however Dabolak takes that “Power hungry aspect” to 11 and beyond and almost completely breaks the very meaning of power hungry in a sense that he literally doesnt need to cause the chaos he wants to be powerful he already is an insanely powerful being even without chaos, chaos is the salt to the dish not the dish itself but he’s let himself get so attached to chaos no matter the length that it’s essentially a hobby now rather than a true goal or motive he doesnt really care about others because he has self crowned himself so high upon the queue for focus that he can’t even reason with others pains and sufferings and he ends up just laughing because he has basically turned spoiled from all the chaos power he has gathered up often getting aggressive when someone tries to bring him away from it.

Dabolak gives off a disturbing vibe other villains in the series don’t give off.
