Get me to the endgame

I’m an older gamer, been playing ESO off and on since near launch very, very casually. Played through main quests, zone quests… never reached a champion level, kind of just a wanderer.

Help me discover the endgame. I feel that the quests don’t necessarily lead you there. Pretend you are starting a new character you want to level to endgame - what steps do you take?

As a returning player I see night markets, raids.. what order do you go in? Any guides you like to use?

Some context: I played WoW for ages, and play all Diablos, so I am not just a geezer that can’t grind. I haven’t explored it in ESO.
