Looking for a collaborator to help build a simple current affairs explainer project (UK-focused)
Hi all,
I’m working on a small online project called The Context Brief — the idea is to explain current affairs (mainly UK politics, economics, and world news) in a very simple, structured way for younger people.
Not breaking news, more like:
- what happened
- why it’s happening
- why it matters
- key takeaway in plain English
I’ve already started building the written side (blog posts in Substack format), but I’m looking for someone who can help turn these ideas into short-form content (TikTok/Reels style faceless videos).
I’m not expecting “viral guaranteed” content — more someone who understands short-form storytelling, hooks, pacing, and can help test different styles consistently.
What I’m looking for:
- someone up-and-coming who is looking to expand their portfolio
- someone comfortable making short-form videos (30–60 seconds)
- understands TikTok/Reels style content
- ideally has some experience or examples
- willing to experiment and iterate
What I bring:
- clear content ideas and scripts
- consistent writing/research for topics
- long-term project direction (not just random posts)
This is early-stage and experimental, but the goal is to build a consistent explainer-style media page and grow it over time.
If you’re interested, drop me a message and I can show examples of the content style I’m working with.
