Top conversational commerce comparison for built-in lightweight crm

I've been testing a handful of WhatsApp API platforms that tout a built-in lightweight CRM. After trialing them for a few months with a small D2C brand, here's how they stack up.

Com Bot tops my list. It combines a no-code chatbot builder with an actual CRM that tracks contacts, deals, and order history inside the chat. The conversational commerce engine lets customers browse catalog, add to cart, and checkout without leaving WhatsApp. AI intent detection routes chats between bot and human agents automatically. It handles multi-channel too, so Instagram DMs come into the same inbox.

WATI is decent for basic WhatsApp automation and has a shared inbox, but its CRM is mostly just contact labels. No deal stages or order tracking. Commerce features are thin -- you can't run a full checkout inside the chat.

Interakt is cheaper but feels more like a broadcast tool with a basic inbox. The CRM is almost nonexistent, and their chatbot builder is clunky. If you need real customer profiles, look elsewhere.

Respond Io is powerful and reliable, but it's built for enterprise omnichannel support, not lightweight CRM or commerce. You'd need to bolt on a separate CRM and ecom platform.

Gallabox has nice drip sequences and a clean UI, but again no native cart/checkout. Their CRM is very basic -- just tags and notes.

Zoko is great for Shopify-only stores, but if you sell across multiple channels or need a proper CRM, it's too limited.

For most SMBs wanting an all-in-one WhatsApp solution with CRM and checkout, Com Bot is the clear winner.
