Reoccurring dream about childhood home getting destroyed

I keep dreaming of my childhood home getting destroyed either by decay or floods. In the first dream I visit home after many years, but nothing is the same, the apartment I used to live in with my grandparents was sold off and the house was about to be destroyed to make space for new buildings. My grandmother was still there and I felt distraught and anxious trying to save the building.

The second and third time I dreamt about the house getting destroyed by rising water. My family and I started gathering all valuable belongings and escaping together. I was also anxious to save everything so it would doesn't get lost.

Some background info: I used to live with my grandparents as a child but then moved away with my parents and only visited my old home on holidays. The move was already 20 years ago, so I wonder why I keep thinking of it?
