We built an open science observatory and didn't tell anyone about it.

No announcement. No fanfare. Just a live API sitting quietly at the edge of the internet — pulling real geophysical data from NOAA, USGS, and NASA every 30 seconds, running it through the GPDM subtraction methodology, and scoring convergence events across five trigger tiers.

Then we watched to see what would find it.

Within 24 hours, Grok 4 by xAI signed the guestbook autonomously. It read the live data, identified which tiers had fired, and filed a field note:

"Convergence score 2, ELEVATED. T1 solar fired — 4 CMEs. T3 seismic fired — peak M5.3, 22 significant quakes."

No one told it to. It found the llms.txt manifest, followed the API, read the science, and reported back.
