Rope dropping Toothless

Can anyone please advise on when they got to do the Toothless meet & greet in Epic when going straight there during early hours on a Saturday? We are planning to get to Epic at around 8 but didn't realise dragon racer rally is not on the express pass so worried about timings for both during early hours in August. Thanks
