Ear tubes help anyone?

Has anyone had an ear tube (s) placed that has helped with dizziness? I have ear fullness, retracted ear drum, dizziness, off balance feeling and ear pressure. I am scheduled to have an ear tube placed next week, but reading some negative posts and don't want to have regrets. Has this helped anyone with ear pressure, dizziness, and off balance feeling?
