Open-sourced an MCP server that generates app assets with art direction (logos, icons, game sprites, banners, and more)
I built an MCP server that turns a short description into production-ready visual assets using OpenAI's image generation. You describe what you need ("a logo for my fitness tracking app") and it handles type detection, art direction, dimensions, and file organization automatically. It ships 17 tools covering app assets (logos, icons, favicons, banners, OG images, illustrations), game assets (sprites, characters, backgrounds, UI, icons), newsletters, GIF creation from image sequences, and codebase wiring that finds where to plug the asset into your project. Works with Claude Desktop and Claude Code out of the box. MIT licensed, zero config beyond an OpenAI API key. GitHub: https://github.com/jeebus87/mcp-asset-generator
