gen 2 vs gen 3??

Hi! So I’ve owned my Generation 2 for about a year, but it has stopped working and the battery drains within an hour over the past few weeks. I contacted support and they offered me a replacement for my Gen 2 or I could get a $70 discount on the Gen 3. I was wondering is it worth it to get the Gen 3 or just stick to Gen 2? How much better really is the Gen 3? If they’re basically the same there’s no point in basically paying for another ring. Please let me know, thank you!
