Can I just cool the bedroom at night or will that lead to short cycling?

I have recently had a Daikin Aurora with three mini splits installed in my condo. In order to save money, I was thinking I would just cool the bedroom at night, rather than the whole place. However, if the system, which is sized for 800 sq ft, is only cooling less than 200 sq ft, will that cause the unit to short cycle? Should I just keep the whole place cool?
