Different Attitudes With Rain

Having grown up in drought in QLD and now living in Sydney, I have noticed people in Sydney have complete meltdowns over rain (huffing; puffing, generally getting angry). Tonight's rain for example, its like a G rated rain, super light.

Growing up in QLD people just shrugged theur shoulders as the floods, rains and storms came. Rain felt like bullwts against your skin, not a trickle on your arm.

So I am wondering... what's the go with Sydneysiders, lol
