Do really men believe in " TAXI CAB THEORY "

Hey guys, im just curious how men think when it comes to being in a relationship.Do you actually believe in the “taxi cab” theory? that once a man gets along with a new person, he’ll eventually marry her, im asking because ive noticed some men commit fully and get obsessed at the start of a new relationship.Most of you here are middle-aged and in LDRs, so I’m wondering, do men usually settle down only when they’re stable and the timing feels right? Or will some go all out to keep the person even if theyre not stable yet. Because personally, im not sure I believe in the taxi cab theory, ive seen guys marry someone just to cover up guilt from a past long-term relationship that ended without marriage, from what ive heard there are more divorces when people settle down with someone too quickly. On the other hand couples who grow together through thick and thin during the relationship tend to last longer. Tell me guys, what’s your take on why you chose to settle down with this person? Aside from her being an influencer, what made you decide she was the one?
