Is the Frequent Traveller account worth it for the Eurotunnel?

I will be crossing over from the UK to France a few times a year as my partner lives in the north of France and I work remotely most of the time. I imagine price wise it is worth it but I've heard it is quite limited in terms of slots available, especially in peak season. Has anyone tried it and can share their experience? Thank you!
