I built a dilator app to help you!
Hi all. I'm Dr Julia Reeve — gynaecologist, psychotherapist and sexologist. Most of what I know about vaginismus, I learned from my patients, and I kept hearing the same thing: the hardest part is doing the work alone at home, with no idea if you're on the right track.
So I built TVZ — a dilator companion app — around the same 9-stage protocol I use in practice, and the same one some of you saw if you used my free course access a couple of months ago:
- Completely anonymous — no account, and your information never leaves your phone
- A clear stage-by-stage path, so you always know where you are and when to progress
- Guided videos I filmed myself
- Breathing exercises for the tense moments
- Session logging to track progress on the weeks it feels like nothing's working
- Work through it on your own, or alongside a professional — there's a therapist-ready PDF report you can take to appointments
There's a 7-day free trial. It's on iPhone and Android.
I've gathered the links, my book, and some free resources on one page here: https://drjuliareeve.com/community
(it's named "community" because it points readers to this subreddit!)
Happy to answer any questions in the comments.
And if you're already using TVZ — please tell people here whether it's any good or not. Honest takes welcome.
