Knee Pain for years
Hello. I (20m) have had inner knee pain for maybe the last 10 or so years, and it comes and goes, usually when I have done exercise. However, sometimes it will hurt when I am walking uphill randomly. When I was younger, I thought it was growing pains, and they would pass, but that obviously isn't the case. It gets to the point where I can't fully straighten my leg at times, and it is agonising. Any ideas? Is it too late to fix this problem naturally? (without surgery, etc.).
I also have a more recent knee pain, which is just below my kneecap. This has been prominent for the last two years or so, as I started to get back into football a wee bit. I only play once a week, and it is a super casual thing, no mad sprints, etc. Sometimes I can't get up stairs without having to take a second to stop and slow down a bit.
Basically, I am asking for any advice on my problems. What are they? Should I get surgery/physiotherapy, etc.? How can I ease my pain and begin to walk / run pain free
Any advice is appreciated
Thanks
