What pets other than bat dragons should have variants?

I was wondering if anyone else thought of what if there were more variant pets? Whether there would be a new specific event for them or if they were added just from time to time the way the bat dragons were.

Would this be a good idea at all?

And even "what if they were actually added" aside, what kinda variants would you guys like?
