EU Citizens Retiring In North Italy/Slovenia - How Is The Healthcare?

Hello all, my wife and I currently live in Vienna, AT (she's German citizen, I'm American) and we're looking for properties to eventually build out and retire at in Slovenia or Italy. Our main concern is that my wife has MS, and her medication up here in Austria is incredibly affordable and covered by health insurance.

For those of you in similar situations who have relocated to either country, could you offer guidance on any issues we'd have, or if the healthcare in either place would be sufficient? Apologies if this is too general of a question as well!
