Cocomelon Kids Will Make AI GodTier While You Cry About ‘Soulless’ Content
I’m a millennial and throughout my years I’ve seen all kinds of technologies come up. Mobile phones, the internet, social media and so on. While we are debating whether we should watch AI movies, listen to AI songs or use AI built websites, we think the current generation is the one deciding where the future goes. But let’s be honest.
History shows something different. Every big technology ends up being defined by the generation that grows up with it as normal life, not the generation that just adopted it.
I remember when Facebook came out. I was probably about two years late to it, but it was around the same time people were starting to know about it. I remember going to a cyber cafe, creating an account, posting about my passions and following interests. Grown ups used to say it was just a fad and there was nothing useful there. A few years later everyone was on it, even our parents
I believe AI is following the same pattern. No matter how much we complain about AI content today, the Cocomelon kids growing up with it will normalize it, shape it and teach the rest of us how to use it.
And eventually we will adapt to it too.
That’s the brutal truth.
