Esomeprazol most likely to caused me osteoporosis

42 M. Diagnosed with Barrett’s esophagus since 2017. It is well controlled. On esomeprazol since then. At first, 40 mg in a daily basis. Then 20 mg in a daily basis.

Three years ago my doctors found i have osteoporosis. We all believe it is because of long-term use of esomeprazol. Famotidine does not work for me. If I don’t take esomeprazol I feel reflux. I am on 20 mg esomeprazol every other day since osteoporosis diagnosis.

Wondering if anyone can think of something I cannot.
