Saddest death of the Series *SPOILERS*

I know everyone has varying opinions on the saddest death of the series, but I’m on my reread and in Dark Age and I can’t think of any character I was more upset about dying than Alexandar au Arcos. The father son relationship with Darrow, finally realizing his inter color romance with Rhonna, all his potential wasted, him being everything Darrow hoped gold could change to become, just coming back to the story after going through hell and back and facing torture, and being killed in such a disgraceful way by that pixie. The true and worthy heir of Arcos deserved so much better.
