Lamotrigine’s positive effect or hypomania?

Medication Question

Hey everyone,

I’m a 29yo female. I’m in my 6th week on Lamotrigine (for Bipolar 2, Diagnosis in January) with titration currently still on only 50mg in the morning, had no noticeable side effects so far! Additionally I take 25mg Quetiapine in the evenings. I also have an ADHD diagnosis, but not on meds right now.
And I have to say: So far, I love it!! I feel like I FINALLY feel more like myself (or the self I guess I am?!), I have energy, interests, concentration, I actually like to think about the next day, I started working out again, cooking for myself and actually enjoy Uni right now. Just overall way less depressed, an actual will to live, more stable and (omg) happy or content?

So! Everything’s great, BUT! I’m actually worried, it’s just the start of a Hypomanic episode. Because…it kind of feels too good to be true? But usually I can tell whether it’s TOO much, TOO high, TOO whatever? And this time it just feels good, but not TOO much? My sleep is okay, a little less than usually though…
My research told me that lamotrigine usually doesn’t induce Hypomanic episodes, but I’m still worried. Maybe I’m not bipolar after all and this is just the meds effects on a neurotypical person? Haha, so many questions!

Anyways, I guess I just don’t know what normal/stable feels like, so worried!

Has anyone any experiences or advice? :))
