19yo Ukrainian looking to relocate. Happy to move anywhere, take any hard work, and rent a shared room. Any advice or leads?
Hi there,
Sorry if this is a bit out of the blue, but I’m hoping to get a bit of advice. My name is Danylo, I'm a 19-year-old Ukrainian lad, and I’m looking to relocate to Ireland under the Temporary Protection directive.
I know things are very tough with housing at the minute, which is why I’m trying to find a solid lead before I make the move. I’m completely open to going anywhere in Ireland, whether it’s a big town or a rural village. I just need a job and a basic roof over my head, and a bed in a shared house or a room is absolutely grand with me.
I’m not afraid of hard graft and I’ll happily take any work going, such as warehouse, factory floor, supermarket, farm work, hotel, or fast food. For the past year, I’ve been working full-time as a waterpark lifeguard doing 11.5-hour shifts. I also have some experience helping out at a horse stable (mucking out, shoveling, feeding), so I’m well used to long days, getting my hands dirty, and taking responsibility. I swam competitively for 8 years and have been doing calisthenics since I was a young lad, so maintaining a strong work ethic and a healthy routine is just second nature to me.
My main goal is simply to find a permanent, full-time role where I can settle in, work hard, and build a life in Ireland. If you happen to have any work going or a spare bed yourself, or even if you just know of any local businesses looking for a reliable worker, I would be massively grateful for a chat or a point in the right direction.
Thanks a million for taking the time to read this anyway.
All the best, Danylo
