Minxodil topical VS foam solution

Hey!

I have been on minxodil 5% topical solution since december. Right now, I’m having some irration/red on my hairline and back of scalp. I only use it once a day now. I’m searching on the internet what I should do about it. Some say that the foam solution doesn’t have this problem. But how do I know that my skin is irritating because of the alcohol that’s in the topical solution and not minoxidil itself? Anyone has had similar problems? Does the foam option solve the issue? And are there any cheaper foam solutions out there( region europe)?
