I designed a PWHL LEGO set and had uploaded the project/design to the LEGO Ideas site. Had posted it on Reddit in a few subs to try and gather support, and received positive feedback and support, for which I am very thankful for anyone who even just thought it was cool (let alone went to the site to support the idea).

I woke up to an email this morning saying that the design had been removed by the moderator team due to some known licensing conflict. Email screenshot included for reference.

It had been up on the site for over a year, and was about 200-250 supporters shy of 1000. Still way far away from the required 10,000 to be considered for an actual LEGO set, but reaching the 1000 mark within the next 60 or so days would have extended my timer another 180 or 365 days? Can’t recall which, but I digress.

The design has to go through licensing and moderator checks before it’s approved to be posted, which it passed, over a year ago… now there’s a “known licensing conflict”?

Seems like a really lame end to a fun concept that while I know it was unlikely it would actually reach 10,000… I don’t know. I’m frustrated and sad, I worked really hard on the design and thought I made something kinda cool.

So not sure what changed between when it was initially approved and now (over a year later), but thank you to anyone who supported and I’m sorry it disappeared. Certainly not my choice.

My PWHL LEGO Ideas project was removed after being posted for over a year…
