New to the game, will I miss out on this content

I just started playing last week, don’t have a ton if time to sink in to the game, and saw this update dropped. I literally just did my first warp to a new system, and still have the last two objectives in Awakening. Will I be able to visit most of this content later? I don’t want to rush the story if I don’t have to.
