Wanting to start FPV

NEWBIE

Hi guys, I'm brand new to the world of FPV. I have watched videos of people flying and getting into FPV, but now I feel its my time to shine. I want to start FPV because of the thrill of being the drone in a sense, somethin similar with becoming a pilot, my dream job after i graduate high school.

From what I've read and watched, the best way to get into FPV is to start with a controller in a sim, build up a few dozen hours, and then look to build your first FPV drone. I really do want to build rather than buy a prebuilt just because of gaining the skills to fix my drone if it breaks.

Here come the questions:

  1. Which simulator should I use to have a realistic and educational first flying experience

  2. Which controller that is budget friendly and I can use for a while before progressing to fancier stuff should I buy? (And which headset)

  3. Is there any good videos, articles or books I can use to learn how to build my drone (What parts to buy, how to charge Li-Ion batteries correctly etc.)

  4. Should I first buy a micro drone to practice flying inside, and then get a bigger drone for outside?

  5. I want to make cinematic shots, and best for that is GoPro or Insta360? I cant seem to get much info on that

Appreciate any help guys, hope i didnt yap too much :)
