Honesty & Transparency

When I started planning for this community one of the things that motivated me was to give people independence to buy directly as there were too many stories of fake sellers or overpriced rubbish.

The point of this community is to try an creat a space for us to share experiences and views in an open and honest way.

So to be clear I have no issues with affiliated links being shared, as long as you’re open and honest about it. So to lead by example, the guide I’ve written and published yesterday contains affiliate links to agents. The links to the Chinese platforms are not affiliate links. I’ve recommended one agent based on my own experience, but also highlighted others that have solid reputations. There is a clear affiliate policy on the website terms and conditions as well.

By creating a culture of openness and honesty from the start, hopefully we can all support each other, learn as we go along and enjoy it together…
