We should stop using the word "racist" to describe racists.
I know that this might seem ridiculous, but please hear me out. I think we should stop using this word for several reasons.
In my experience, this word has zero effect. These "people" don’t care about being called racist. It's natural for them. It's like calling John Wayne Gacey a sick-minded individual. They know that they're being racist. They are fully aware. But they'll either own the title (look at the UK Politician Rupert Lowe's response to such accusations) or they'll say "No, It's culture!"
Secondly, it is a sign of cowardice, victimhood, weakness and is the Saji Sharma approach. I appreciate Saji's efforts to call out anti Indian sentiment, but all he does is essentially cry "this is racist" and nothing else. That sort of method has no real effect.
I think that we should take the Sandman/PepZity approach. If you dont know, these are two Indian youtubers that are incredibly based. They've made a number of videos tearing into western nutters and their anti india videos. It is very obvious that they want to go further on the offensive, but YouTube community guidelines prohibit it. But they go on the offensive already, which is fantastic. They do call them racist sometimes, but they dish it back to them plenty.
In short, we should stop playing the victim by crying "racism" when we face this sort of shit and start dishing back this same sort of rhetoric back to these "people". I also think it can give us more backbone
