IGL CUSTOMERS BEWARE

Total I received the following message from an unknown number stating:

"𝖭𝗈𝗍𝗂𝖼𝖾

Dear Customer, 

Your IGL GAS Connection  will be Disconnected.tonight at 08:00PM Please Contact Our .IGL Officer. ( Mr.RAHUL AGGARWAL Call ********** TeamIGL)"

I got a call from a number **********, claiming to be from IGL. The person on the other side knew everything about my connection, the recent complaints I have made and since when I have been using the connection etc & then asked me to install an APK file to resolve the issue and to prevent the disconnection of my gas connection. He claimed that it's a PDF file. Thankfully, I knew something was up from the very beginning. Wasted his time and then disconnected the call.

I cannot imagine how many innocent people might have been scammed by these lowlife sumbag scammers.

And what is IGL doing? How is the customer data getting leaked?
