Lately I’ve fallen right back into a 9-1-1 rewatch spiral and, honestly, my brain has refused to clock out since.

I’m mostly looking for something centered around Buck and/or Eddie since the angst potential between them is basically endless in the best possible way, but I’m very open to other dynamics within the universe too. I usually lean mxf because I already have OCs built for the setting, though mxm is absolutely welcome as well. At the core of it, I’m really after something character-driven, emotional, and grounded in the chaos of this world.

Slow burns are my weakness. So is tension that builds quietly over time, slice-of-life moments between calls, hurt/comfort, complicated relationships. I love the “holding yourself together while everything around you refuses to stay still” energy this show captures so well. I also really enjoy building characters together, digging into canon ones, and making the story feel like it’s actually breathing.

My writing is in 3rd person past tense, and I usually match the pacing and tone of scenes naturally. Some replies are shorter and more conversational, while others turn into longer, more detailed responses depending on what’s happening in the story. I also love playlists, Pinterest boards, character building, plotting scenes, and developing dynamics over time. I’m always happy to include multiple characters and storylines too since I think it makes the world feel much more alive and immersive.
