A glitch with Harper and Dirk

I got the hate ending for both and wanted to use my Poise and Sass candies to get their friend endings; however, after using the candies and interacting with them the next day. They were still giving the dialogue from interacting with them after their hate ending. If anyone knows any solution to this, please help.
