# 2021-2023 Ford F-150 DIY Remote Start Installation Overview:

* 1 T-harness & 2 T-tap Connections Installation: The system's T-harness plugs in line with your vehicle's OBD2 port.
* The additional 2-wire harness (blue harness in the above photo) is routed over to a gray plug found behind the vehicle's glovebox, where two T-tap connections are made to two wires at the plug. You don't have to completely remove the glovebox; you just drop it down out of the way by pushing in the tabs on both the right and left sides of the glovebox and unsnapping the control arm (a.k.a. damper arm) on the bottom right of the glovebox. See example photos below.
* No OBD2 Port Blocking: You will not lose normal access to your vehicle's OBD2 port; No need to unplug the remote start system every time the vehicle's OBD2 port is required for vehicle service or additional accessories.
* No Key Programming Procedures or Computer Programming is involved. Go straight from delivery to vehicle for installation.
* No Disconnecting Vehicle Battery for Installation is Required.
* Step-by-step illustrated installation guide with color photos.
