The architecture of Cyprus is hellish. And the reason for that it greed.
A rant. Think of any European country's architecture you've witnessed. I remember not being able to finish a walk just because of how many unique, architecturally significant building I could see in ANY European city. Each building had a spirit and a story to tell.
Compare this to Cyprus. God, this is an architectural hell, all buildings are the bare minimum required to squeeze out profit, with no maintenance, and this applies to Limassol's new giants too. There's no grander plan for a building than extracting profit.
Walking in Cyprus's cities in exhausting. Buildings have no story to tell. It's a desert drained by greed.
Cyprus is so much closer to the Middle East mindset than it is to Europe's.
