Can a missing tooth that caused surrounding teeth to shift also cause alignment issues with the lower teeth and jaws to feel like there is some resistance when opening the mouth wider?
Hi folks, I had been neglecting my dental health for some time and now I maybe paying thousands and thousands of dollars more for dental care than I would've if I had just looked after my own teeth with regular dental visits. I now noticed my my naturally straight teeth starting to develop gaps between them after losing some teeth, rows of teeth from one jaw looking more outward or inward.
I'm also having some issue with my jaws that would make this crunch sound and feel like there is some resistnace whenever I try to open my mouth wide.
Can a few missing teeth really cause all these issues?
