Two weeks until Scaling New Heights—anyone else building an "anti-hype" agenda for Orlando?
With the countdown officially hit the two-week mark for SNH 2026, I’m finalizing my calendar for the Marriott World Center. The flight is booked, but looking at the massive list of exhibitors and sessions, I’m trying to avoid the classic conference trap: returning home with a notebook full of generic ideas and zero actual fixes for my firm's capacity bottlenecks.
A lot of the pre-event chatter is heavily focused on adding high-ticket advisory or Fractional CFO services. But the real elephant in the room is always delivery. You can sell all the fixed-fee advisory packages you want, but if your back-office data workflows are still manual, messy, or entirely dependent on your local team working 60-hour weeks, scaling just means shrinking your margins.
As I map out my schedule to separate real operational tools from empty marketing hype, I’m prioritizing three very specific conversations:
- Standardizing the Micro-Work: What are firms actually using to automate high-volume data ingestion and accounts payable workflows without adding massive tech debt?
- The "Anti-Scope Creep" Framework: How are you scoping and pricing advisory packages so they don't turn into customized, manually intensive nightmares a month into the contract?
- Decoupling Headcount from Growth: Moving past the impossible local hiring crunch and architecting a seamless hybrid team model that keeps the delivery layer running smoothly in the background.
If you’re heading down to Orlando, are running a growing practice, and want to talk about raw operational mechanics rather than standard slide decks—let's swap notes.
Drop a comment below or shoot me a DM if you want to grab a quick coffee or a 15-minute hallway sync between speaker sessions through the 17th. Safe travels on the way out!
