Curse of owning anything good in India

Been going through this sub after having my own experience and it just sucks to realize you can't own anything good in India.

My new meteor 350 is parked in my apartment parking with a cover always on and two chains.

For the past few days I've been seeing the cover lifted from places. Now I don't know what the person doing it is trying. I haven't been able to get the CCTV footage.

Today I went to take it out and on removing the cover, there were dirt marks all over the seat, tank, side panels, definitely deliberate.

I don't know what to do and how to protect it.
