Probability Generating Functions In 9231 Paper 4

Has the probability generating function for a linear combination for a random variable (aX+b) ever come before? I don't recall seeing this in any past paper. The only thing that has ever come was the probability generating function of X+Y. Is there a chance this could come in the exam tomorrow?
