People underestimate how important financing experience is in this sector.

Projects do not move forward on geology alone.

They move forward through:

* Capital access
* Industry relationships
* Market credibility
* Strategic execution

According to the company announcement, Ed Kostenski brings international mining executive and financier experience to NovaRed at a time when the company is aggressively expanding visibility around both its copper-gold assets and AI-focused MetalCore strategy.

That timing matters.

The market today is rewarding companies connected to:

* Copper demand growth
* Strategic mineral development
* AI infrastructure
* Resource security themes

Management clearly understands where investor attention is heading.

A lot of juniors stay stuck with outdated leadership structures that only know how to repeat the same exploration cycle:

raise money -> drill -> dilute -> repeat.

NovaRed appears to be trying something larger:

build an ecosystem around exploration intelligence, data, and scalable mineral evaluation.

Adding experienced financial leadership increases confidence that management is serious about long-term execution.

Also worth noting:

The company has already:

Expanded Wilmac to more than 16,000 hectares

Filed patent-related AI work

Increased technical/news flow significantly

Seen the stock rerate massively from 52-week lows near C$0.05

Now they are strengthening the advisory side too.

That combination usually signals a company preparing for a larger growth phase rather than standing still.

Still speculative of course.

But this is exactly the type of management development I like seeing in emerging microcaps.

$NRED just added Ed Kostenski to the advisory board and honestly this is the kind of move I pay attention to in small-cap mining.
